Anyone else hitting the streets for the No Kings rally today? Here’s what to throw in your backpack so you don’t end up dehydrated, sunburned, or low-key spiraling.
Water – Add electrolytes if you want to zhuzh it up a bit.
Sun protection – Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. Yes, even if it’s cloudy.
Plenty of snacks – This is about getting organized, not getting hangry.
Solid shoes – Get your steps in and fight fascism—but no blisters, okay?
Clever signs – Fight back with humor and snarkiness.
Phone, fully charged – Post those selfies and show the revolution is everywhere.
Your overwhelm, isolation, and despair – Bring it and march it out. You’ll be in good company.
You: the most important part. Just show up. Stand up for what you believe in. Participate. Get off the sidelines- its good for your health and the health of our democracy.
